Boosting e-commerce logistics in Africa

Ethiopian Airlines Group, Africa’s largest airline group, has launched an e-commerce logistics hub within the Ethiopian cargo & logistics premises at Bole International Airport.

The newly built facility, which is dedicated to e-commerce, mail, and courier logistics services, is to bridge gaps in logistics networks and position Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, as the cross-border e-commerce logistics hub for Africa and beyond.

Equipped with state-of-the art technology, the hub will offer a range of services including consolidation, deconsolidation, sorting, repacking, labelling and more. Customers can now track and trace their shipments effortlessly from anywhere, the carrier said. (cj)
