Boosting cross-border business
Courtesy of Dachser, two new border connect services will give UK exporters access to major European groupage networks. The solution seeks to support UK businesses against the impact of post-Brexit conditions.
With Connect40 and Connect42, exporters shipping on delivered duty paid (DDP) incoterms can use Dachser’s own European network. After a successful pilot in February, the new solution has prompted many customers to renegotiate existing DAP incoterms into DDP.
In a post-Brexit market, speed and quality of service are important assets, and exporters will want to take advantage of the fastest transit times. Dachser’s European network transported 65.7 million intra-European shipments in 2023. (mk)
