Boosting capacity in Hong Kong
Arvato SCM Solutions has opened a new distribution centre in Hong Kong on behalf of an international company in the high-tech sector.
The facility, offering 9,300 sqm of storage space and around 420 sqm of offices complements the client’s existing distribution network that has locations in Louisville KY and Ontario CA (both USA), as well as in Venlo (Netherlands). The entire network was designed within 18 months and implemented across three continents.
The latest storage platform is the second logistics location that Arvato has opened in Hong Kong with four years. Arvato will shoulder a range of services for its client. They include, inter alia, logistics, fulfilment, inbound/outbound goods, storage, the management of air, sea and land transport providers, as well as custom clearance and value added services. (mw)
