Booking rail and truck transport online
Box2rail, an online booking platform for SMEs, has augmented its portfolio by adding a capacity display for HGV transport services. In addition to the existing capacity indicator for the railway, Box2rail 2.0 now offers a complete overview of capacities along the entire transport chain.
The booking platform was introduced in 2017 by the German company TFG Transfracht, operator of the Albatros Express. The platform enables clients to make uncomplicated container bookings from German seaports straight to a recipient’s door and from a shipper’s premises to the German seaports.
After the platform receives information about the seaport, destination, shipping date and container type, clients immediately get a transport cost quote. (ben)
