Booking platform for small palletised shipments
Occasional consignors of small shipments (single or a few pallets) can now make use of a new digital platform, provided by Palletways, that offers a swift and easy way to book transport for palletised freight, end-to-end shipment tracking and a simple payment method.
The goods have to be suitable for palletising and may not exceed the basic pallet size of 1.20 m x 1.00 m.
After booking a collection order, the relevant Palletways network partner will contact the customer and prepare for pick-up. As soon as the pallet is loaded, it is transported to the nearest Palletways hub, where it is transhipped, assigned to a delivery partner, who then arranges the delivery. (mw)
