Bolstering Saudi Arabia's logistics
Saudi Logistics Company SAL, the logistic arm of Saudi Arabian Airlines, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with King Abdullah Economic City, 100 km North of Jeddah, to provide support to both logistics sectors in the Kingdom and KAEC.
The partnership focuses on enhancing logistics services and contributes to creating logistic and economic opportunities in conjunction with Saudi Arabia’s "2030 vision" to transform the Kingdom into a global logistic hub.
Commenting on the event, SAL CEO Omar Hariri emphasised the importance of this partnership and its role to enhance the cargo ground handling services from and to KAEC. He added that SAL would utilise all its logistic capabilities to take advantage of the competitive benefits of what the Industrial Valley at KAEC has to offer. (ah)
