Bolloré's West Africa airlift extended until 31 July
Against the backdrop of the Covid-19 health crisis, Bolloré Logistics is extending its special weekly cargo freight service between Europe and West Africa until 31 July 2020. The "WARA Air Service" may even be extended further if air freight capacity restrictions remain in place.
Every week, freight is transported via two or three all-cargo flights from Bolloré Logistics' airport hubs in Liège, Belgium, and Paris CDG, France. They serve Abidjan, Accra, Bamako, Conakry, Freetown, Monrovia, Niamey, Nouakchott and Ouagadougou.
Some 30 flights have already ensured the shipment of 1,800 t of goods intended for humanitarian aid, health materials and equipment, medical and food products, spare parts, telecoms equipment and other daily consumer goods, like over 100 t of mangos exported from Africa to Europe. (ah)
