Bolloré picks Eric Kalala as CEO in DRC
The new CEO of Bolloré Transport & Logistics in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has officially assumed his functions. A Congolese (DRC) national, Éric Kalala joined Bolloré Transport & Logistics in 2003, holding positions in the finance division and the operational division.
He was previously responsible for the Katanga region, where he will be replaced in Lubumbashi by Rodolphe Kembukuswa Diwa, who has been in the Bolloré Group for 30 years.
Kalala has a solid experience in mining logistics and financial management. He is a business engineering graduate of the administration and management institute of the Université Catholique de Louvain and holds a master in international management from HEC-Paris and a general management programme diploma from Harvard Business School.
As the new CEO, he will be in charge of the development of Bolloré Transport & Logistics’ shipping and logistics activities in Kinshasa. He succeeds Yves Debiesme, who is retiring. (mw)
