Bolloré Logistics to apply Cargo Wise One globally
Bolloré Logistics has signed a strategic agreement with logistics solutions group Wise Tech Global to roll out the Cargo Wise One integrated logistics solutions platform globally as of May 2019.
With Cargo Wise One, which is used in 130 countries, logistics service providers can carry out complex transactions in freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, shipping, tracking, land transport, e-commerce and cross-border compliance and manage their operations on one database across multiple users, functions, countries, languages and currencies. Bolloré Logistics has been using Cargo Wise One in Australia and New Zealand for many years to handle its freight forwarding and customs management operations.
Cargo Wise One will now be adapted for Bolloré Logistics to use it across its worldwide network, including Africa. The global roll-out will also support Bolloré Logistics’ new “One TMS” programme, which is a unique IT tool for the company’s entire network, driven by strong and integrated processes. (mw)
