Bolloré launches phase 2 in Abidjan
On 21 October 2022, Bolloré Transport & Logistics Côte d'Ivoire officially opened the largest logistics base in West Africa.
Situated in the Abidjan airport area, it is designed to develop inbound and outbound air traffic. This 9,000 sqm new logistics platform took 18 months to complete with the help of several local companies and cost a total of CFA francs 3.4 billion.
The launch of this new logistics base is the second phase of the Aérohub project, following the commissioning of a 6,000 sqm tri-temperature platform in 2019.
It was built and equipped to facilitate packaging of pharmaceutical products and provide value-added storage for all types of freight, including perishable goods destined for the Ivorian market or European countries. (cj)
