Bolloré: developments in India and Timor
Bolloré Logistics recently announced new business developments in Timor-Leste and India. On 20 October, Bolloré Logistics Timor inaugurated its newly renovated head office in Dili. With its office headquartered in this city since 2001, Bolloré is the longest serving international logistics company in Timor. Its projects have played key roles in the development of Timor-Leste since 1999.
Bolloré has also added two new electric vehicles to its fleet in Mumbai and Bengaluru in India, of which the first was rolled out in the Delhi NCR region in May. India’s transportation sector is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions.
Bolloré’s vans are intended for eco-friendly goods deliveries in urban areas. So far, these electric trucks have travelled over 10,000 km in Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru saving 8.30 t in green-house gas emissions. (mk)
