BNSF goes live with Tideworks’ intermodal system
The US class I railway has introduced Tideworks Technology’s Intermodal Pro terminal operating system (TOS) and traffic control equipment dispatch system at its facility in Memphis, TN. This will give BNSF centralised visibility of its terminal operations to optimise real-time planning, improve terminal and equipment productivity and boost performance, Tideworks said.
For the deployments, the company provided BNSF with all associated implementation services, including project management, software customisation, configuration and installation, integration services, user training and go-live assistance. Tideworks will continue to carry out ongoing maintenance and support services for its customer. (ben)
