Block trains from Shenyang to Moscow
Transcontainer has launched import cargo services from China to Russia via the Suifenhe - Grodekovo border-crossing point. The line connects Shenyang, China and Selyatino in the Moscow Region. The first train was loaded with 124 teu of passenger cars. Transit time is about 20 days.
The company sees a potential of four to five block trains a month. Transit customs clearance is managed with e-documents.
Transcontainer’s existing route network links China and Russia via the border-crossing points of Zabaikalsk, Dostyk and Altynkol (on the border between China and Kazakhstan) and Zamyn-Uud (between China and Mongolia). (ben)
