Big Singapore interest in Stockholm

Singapore-based aviation services group Sats has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, WFS Sweden, is planning to acquire Terminal & Transporttjänst i Sigtuna and APH Logistics for SEK 94 million (approximately EUR 8.4 million). The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Adding 13,000 sqm of warehouse space, this move aims to strengthen Sats' presence in the Stockholm market and its specialised cargo handling capability, as well as add new capacity for growth.

Both TT and APH operate out of Stockholm (ARN), Sweden's largest airport which handled 84,768 t of cargo last year, 12.9% less than in 2022.

APH specialises in border inspection services with perishable and cold chain facilities, which complements the air cargo services provided by TT (handling and transportation services to airlines, freight forwarders and time-critical medical suppliers). (ah)
