Big Gulf carriers connecting the planet
Emirates Skycargo has scaled up its cargo services to connect an increasing number of global destinations. The Dubai-based cargo carrier currently operates flights to 51 destinations globally, out of which 19 cities are served by B777F offering up to 100 t of capacity per flight and 38 destinations are served by dedicated cargo flights on Emirates' B777 PAX aircraft offering up to 50 t belly capacity.
Doha-based Qatar Airways Cargo has also increased services around the world, operating freighters and freight-only PAX aircraft to ensure the continuity of global trade and transportation of essential supplies. In the past month, the airline has transported over 50,000 t of medical and aid supplies to impacted regions around the globe. This equates to roughly 500 fully loaded B777F. (ah)
