Big Brown raising its forecast


CEP provider UPS has reported its results for Q3/2021. The group's revenue amounted to USD 23.2 billion, a 9.2% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit was even more significant, rising by 22.6% to USD 2.9 billion, up even 23.4% on a like-for-like basis.

 

The international segment contributed USD 4.72 billion, 15.5% more than in Q3/2020. Operating profit outside USA reached USD 1.05 billion, a 8.1% surge compared to the first nine months of 2020.

 

For the full year 2021, the company is raising its consolidated adjusted operating margin target to approximately 13%. It expects adjusted return on invested capital to be around 29%. Capital expenditures are now planned to be approximately USD 4.2 billion. (cd)
