Bettina Brennenstuhl now in charge
Bettina Brennenstuhl has officially taken office as the new sole director of Dortmunder Hafen. She succeeds Uwe Büscher, who retired at the end of August.
Before joining Dortmunder Hafen, Brennenstuhl, who holds a degree in business administration, was deputy mayor and treasurer in Lünen and also a member of the supervisory board of the Port of Lünen.
"I am very much looking forward to the new challenge and the opportunity to put my experience and knowledge at the service of Europe's largest canal port," she said.
In the coming weeks, the new head of the port will first gain an overview of the company's current situation. The next step will then be to define concrete goals and measures to advance the development of the Port of Dortmund and its approximately 170 resident companies. (cj)
