Better links between sea ports and hinterland networks
Effective 18 October 2019, Transfracht will add Rotterdam to its Albatros Express network as part of its internationalisation strategy. With this measure, the operator is responding to the steadily growing demand for services between Germany and the western ports.
At the same time, Transfracht will expand its comprehensive network and its connections with the western ports by adding two new hubs, the D3T Duisburg Trimodal Terminal and the KTL Kombi-Terminal Ludwigshafen.
Albatross Express trains will run six times a week between the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands and Dortmund, Duisburg and Ludwigshafen in Germany. (ben)
