Best betters position at TFG
With retroactive effect from 1 January, Philipp Best has been appointed as sales manager at TFG Transfracht in Hamburg. The subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn organises daily containerised sea port hinterland transports (2020: 900,000 teu) from Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven as well as Koper, Rotterdam and Antwerp bound for destinations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Best has been working in various segments for the DB Group since 2009 and looks back on many years of experience in sea port hinterland logistics, sales and production.
He joined TFG in 2015 and most recently headed central customer services and key account management. Before that, he was responsible for sales to operators between the German sea ports and eastern Europe as well as for planning DB Cargo's maritime intermodal transports. (amh)
