Bernhard Schulte Cruise: full speed ahead

Bernhard Schulte Cruise Services (BSCS) has won a contract to provide technical management for Jalesh Cruises’ new vessel, the “Karnika”. The 70,285-tonne, 2,000-seater crown princess-class cruise ship is presently undergoing comprehensive refurbishment at Sembcorp’s marine admiralty yard in Singapore prior to entering service from Mumbai (India) in mid-April 2019.

As part of India’s first dedicated domestic cruise operation, the “Karnika” will offer cruises from India and Dubai for the duration of 2019.

BSCS managing director Les Royle and deputy managing director Martin Springer have worked closely with Jalesh Cruises to form this new partnership. (kd)
