Belgian airport fortified
Liège airport, a key European freight hub, has appointed Frédéric Brun (on the left) as its head of commercial cargo, and Alexis Lapot as its senior manager for cargo sales. They will join a team headed by Torsten Wefers, the vice-president of marketing and sales.
Brun has 15 years of experience in the logistics industry. He joins Liège airport from the logistics provider DSV, where his last position was branch manager in Liège. He has also worked for DB Schenker, Rhenus Logistics and Maersk.
Lapot has ten years of experience in aviation and logistics. He has come from World Flight Services (WFS), where his last position was airline key account manager. Prior to that, he worked for CAL Cargo Airlines. He will manage and develop the hub’s cargo airline portfolio. (cj)
