"Beaujo" is back - have you already tasted it?
Is this year's Beaujolais Nouveau as fruity as the one of 2021? Since yesterday, at any rate, wine lovers can enjoy the new vintage of this French red wine. Flawless logistics are needed to ensure that it is available all over the world, as it is on the third Thursday in November of every year.
This year, air transport took place between 19 October and 10 November. As part of the 2022 campaign, the very first inaugural pallet arrived in Osaka on 20 October.
Air France KLM Martinair Cargo has already delivered approximately 400 t of Beaujo, more than 75% of this year’s demand, to Japan, the world’s leading importer of this wine. The airline also carried some cargo to Canada, Mexico, Africa & MEA this year with its business customers Nippon Express, Kintetsu World Express, DHL, Bollore and Clasquin. (ah)
