BBL swallows Share Logistics
The French logistics company Groupe BBL wants to further extend its international profile and to this end has purchased the Share Logistics Group, from the Netherlands. The Rotterdam-based company was run by Jan Crezee and a team of managers since an MBO in 2008.
The Share Logistics Group has more than 200 employees in 16 European offices, in the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and France, and about 40 professionals in six offices in North and Latin America, specifically in the USA and Brazil.
Groupe BBL, founded in 1997 by Kaci Kébaïli, specialises in contract logistics, groupage solutions, overseas and road transport, and customs and compliance services. Its revenues, generated by more than 1,700 employees worldwide, now come to about EUR 850 million. (sh)
