"BBC Houston" christened in namesake port
The “MV BBC Houston”, the second of BBC Chartering’s "Lakermax" series, was officially christened at Houston's Manchester terminal after successfully completing its maiden voyage from China to the USA.
Designed for optimal cargo space and reduced emissions, the vessel features a 500 t lifting capacity and advanced deck layout.
The christening ceremony was attended by key stakeholders and partners and marked a significant milestone as the vessel prepares for its next voyage to Kolkata, India. The new addition strengthens BBC Chartering's global fleet and enhances its capacity to meet the growing demands of the project cargo sector. (pb)
