Barcelona–Madrid service with LNG vehicles
As part of its strategy to develop distribution services and its national network, Arcese in Spain has launched a new daily service connecting Barcelona and Madrid with a 24-hour transit time. The door-to-door service is available for all types of goods, offering collection and delivery to final customers.
Liquid natural gas vehicles will be used for the Barcelona-Madrid-Barcelona route, and hybrid and electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries from the Madrid branch. Natural gas vehicles save almost 40% of CO2, 94% of nitrogen oxide and almost 95% of harmful particles, and electric vehicles also help to significantly reduce noise pollution, Arcese said. (ben)
