Back to the future for 70th anniversary

Massey Wilcox Transport, which is based in Bristol and Radstock, Somerset (UK), celebrated its milestone anniversary last month (May) and put a brand-new Scania R450 on the road in the same livery that was used 70 years ago.

The company was set up by Douglas Massey and Harry Wilcox and remains in the Wilcox family under the stewardship of current managing director, Robert Wilcox. The company is no stranger to celebrating major anniversaries as it also rolled out special liveries for its 40th, 50th and 60th years in business.

Massey Wilcox specialises in general transport activities, storage and warehousing and nationwide pallet distribution through its shareholder membership of the Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track network. (cj)
