B737-800BCF flying high over Paris and Europe
During last week's Paris Air Show, ASL Aviation Holdings, which provides network solutions for express freight integrators (2018: 357,000 t), and Boeing signed a MoU for 20 737-800 Boeing converted freighters (BCF), bringing the next-generation 737-800 freighter conversion to 120 orders and commitments, from eight customers.
The agreement includes ten firm orders and ten purchase rights. ASL Aviation Holdings CEO Hugh Flynn: "Having operated two leased 737-800BCFs across our wide European network, we are very pleased with how the flexibility and reliability of these freighters fulfil our operational needs. The aircraft is highly efficient and the right size for our developing operations on behalf of our express cargo customers who are experiencing growing demand." (ah)
