"B" score despite increased challenges
ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) has once again gained a "B" score in the carbon disclosure project (CDP). This is despite the increase of requirements and the addition of completely new issues such as biodiversity or the EU taxonomy. Many new points of detail have been added to existing categories. Furthermore, RCG achieved significant improvements in the "energy" (A-) and "value chain engagement" (B-) categories.
The CDP score is the global gold standard for environmental reporting and is used by investors, companies, political decision-makers, scientists and the media to obtain information about companies' climate-related data and strategies. (ben)
