Awards for the air charter industry
The Air Charter Association welcomed nearly 400 guests to London’s historic Guildhall to celebrate the presentation of the very first set of awards following the association’s recent rebrand.
Formerly known as the BACA excellence awards, these awards are presented annually and are contested by all areas of the industry, with the event attracting guests from all over the world.
The complete portfolio of award winners was as follows: passenger charter operator of the year executive (less than 18 seats): Air Hamburg; passenger charter operator of the year airline (more than 18 seats): Titan Airways; cargo charter operator of the year: Jota Aviation; handling agent / FBO of the year: Signature Flight Support; aircraft manufacturer of the year: Embraer; young person of the year: Eduardo Costa; the Sir Michael Marshall award for diversity in air charter: Dr Jaclyn Bell; the ACA chairman’s award: Sir Michael Marshall.
