Atran providing Hangzhou - Riga capacity
Atran Airlines has launched a new route between Hangzhou and Riga (Latvia) that guarantees cargo capacity for the Cainiao Network, the logistics arm of Alibaba Group.
Atran Airlines is the Russian air express carrier within the Volga-Dnepr Group. Hangzhou is an emerging technology hub and home to the e-commerce industry in China.
The once per week Boeing B737-800BCF flight will provide up to 23 t of cargo capacity for e-commerce shipments of Cainiao Network.
Atran Airlines, which operates a fleet of Boeing B737-400SF and B737-800BCFs, is concentrating on expanding its network and enlarging the fleet. The new service adds to Atran's recently launched Xi’an route. (ah)
