Atlas Air Worldwide invests in New York
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has announced the renewal and extension of its corporate headquarters lease in Purchase (NY, USA). Atlas’ plans include adding 100 to the currently 568 jobs and enhancing headquarters offices to accommodate its growing employee base and strategic business growth.
Atlas has maintained its headquarters in New York since 2000. Chairman and CEO William J. Flynn: "New York is our home and we are excited to strengthen our ties and expand our company in this dynamic, thriving state."
In addition to its New York HQ, the company maintains operation centres near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, which will also be expanded (see ITJ 31-35/2019, p. 13) in Anchorage (AK, USA) and Hong Kong; a training centre in Miami (FL, USA) and key logistics centres around the world, including New York JFK, to support its global network.
