Astre seeks new partners
The logistics network Astre, founded in Nantes (France) in 1992, currently comprises 160 companies from 14 European countries as well as Turkey.
Christophe de Korver, the network’s director since February 2021, wants to attract more small and medium-sized owner-operated transport and logistics companies to the network in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
To this end, de Korver is particularly targeting companies that organise transports to and from France or to other countries where Astre is represented. These include the national branches Benelux/UK, Iberian Peninsula and Italy. He does not see Astre as a competitor against existing forwarding cooperations in the respective countries.
In the DACH region, seven partners have been relying on Astre for many years: Siegmann, Gustav Mäuler, Moeller Internationale Spedition + Logistik, Grieshaber Logistics Group, Transneu Internationale Spedition and Nothegger Transport Logistik as well as Breta Lita UAB in the Baltic States, some with several locations.
