Assarmatori appoints Dario Bazargan
The Italian Shipowners’ Association has officially opened a representative office in Brussel to establish a direct link with European Institutions in view of playing a strategic role within the EU debate on energy transition and future European maritime policy.
This office will be headed by Dario Bazargan. He has a longstanding experience in the maritime sector in connection with the EU departments and was previously director of international and economic affairs within the European Shipbuilding Association.
Assarmatori’s president Stefano Messina: “This is a major step in Assarmatori’s strategy to create a stronger link with EU institutions and provide our members with more direct and comprehensive information on current developments in European shipping policy.”
