Arkas launches seasonal service
Turkey-based Arkas Line recently launched direct reefer dedicated services from Samsun and Mersin to Novorossiysk, driven by rising demand for perishable product shipments from Turkey to Russia.
The Samsun Novorossiysk service, named SNS, began in mid-October and deploys the vessel “Vera A”. The seasonal service product Reefer Express Service (REX) took off with the first sailing of “Mehmet Kahveci” from Mersin at the beginning of November. The REX service will be operated under a vessel share agreement with Sealand Europe & Med. (sh)
