Appreciated by Mexico's exporters and importers
Launched one year ago, Emirates Skycargo's service to Guadaljara has provided exporters from Guadalajara and the Jalisco region reliable and rapid connectivity to consumer markets ins Europe, Middle East and West Asia. Fresh produce items were the main commodities transported on the air cargo carrier's flights from its second cargo destination in Mexico after Mexico City (since 2014), last year.
On four weekly B777F and five weekly B777-200LR flights connecting Dubai, Barcelona and Mexico, the company has transported over 38,000 t of cargo into and out of the country since January 2020.
In addition to supporting exports of food, Emirates Skycargo has also flown supplies of essential pharmaceuticals, PPE and close to 2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines to Mexico. (ah)
