Antonov charters across Africa
Airland Logistics, member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Denmark, has completed the delivery of two AN-12 charter flights from Lusaka, Zambia to Bamako, Mali for a mining client.
The nature of the cargo was hazardous and the product is commonly used when splitting mined commodities from the rock.
This shipment was urgently needed on site, but, despite hurdles along the way because the dangerous goods did not meet Iata’s DGR standards, the company said it managed to have the shipment moved over the Christmas and New Year period. (ah)
