Antonia Wanner elected to board of directors
Swiss Post’s annual general meeting has elected Antonia Wanner to the company’s board of directors. She succeeds Nadja Lang, who did not stand for re-election after nine years on the board.
Wanner studied law at the universities of Tübingen, Lausanne and Bonn and passed her bar exam in Munich. She began her professional career as a legal advisor at Nestlé Deutschland in 1996 and moved to Nestlé’s headquarters in Vevey in 2006.
After holding various executive positions at the company's head office, Wanner was appointed chief procurement officer and head of the global purchasing department in 2017. Since 2020, she has been responsible for the company-wide development and implementation of Nestlé's environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy. (cj)
