Another intra-Asian service
Singapore-headquartered Pacific International Lines (PIL) is introducing a new weekly direct intra-Asian service that will connect ports in China, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. TPIL will deploy a group of vessels with an average capacity of 2,000 teu on this route.
PIL's chief trade officer Tonnie Lim PIL commented that with this addition, the carrier's range of services, "enabling us to offer linkages from all the major ports in China, Korea to Southeast Asia, and then onto the rest of our global network.” The port rotation will be: Xingang – Dalian – Incheon – Qingdao – Shanghai – Laem Chabang – Ho Chi Minh – Xingang.
