Another German project for Panattoni
Panattoni will take over the brownfield site of a plastics company based in Friedewald in eastern Hesse next year to develop a commercial site. The 41,000 sqm plot is located in an industrial estate near Bad Hersfeld. The plastics plant in Friedewald will cease operations at the end of 2023.
Panattoni is planning a contiguous building with two units. The rental area is 23,600 sqm (21,300 sqm hall area). The installation of a photovoltaic system and the use of rainwater are intended to promote sustainability.
Fred-Markus Bohne, managing partner for Panattoni in Germany and Austria: "We see very high potential for attracting well-known companies in the eastern region of Bad Hersfeld over the next few years." Completion is scheduled for early 2025. (mk)
