Anker opens a new office building in Emden
Anker Schiffahrts-Gesellschaft, a German seaport transhipment and terminal operator, has inaugurated its new office building at the port of Emden.
The property took two years to build and spans 1,050 sqm on three floors. It complies with the latest requirements of the German Building Energy Act, featuring a photovoltaic system with an output of approx. 34 KWp on the roof, an air-water heat pump for underfloor heating and a window system with triple glazing and an isolation of the building with a U-value of 0.16 W/sqm x K.
Constantin Conrad, CEO of the Leschaco Group, the parent company of Anker Schiffahrt, and managing director of Anker Schiffahrt: "Our new buildings will not only be a more pleasant place to work, but also an important contribution to the development of our location in the region." Commercial and industrial employees can now begin to move into their new workplace. (lh)
