Anglo-Eastern uses Wärtsilä’s FOS
Wärtsilä, a specialist for innovative technologies and lifecycle solutions, is partnering with DNV’s industry cloud platform Veracity to create secure and seamless connectivity between Wärtsilä’s fleet optimisation solution (FOS) and the platform.
FOS provides a unique infrastructure that includes electronic chart display and information system (Ecdis) connectivity, which is used to send real-time operational data with customer consent to Veracity.
The company Anglo-Eastern has been in partnership with Wärtsilä since 2019 and more than 500 vessels of its fleet have been fitted with Wärtsilä’s FOS and use DNV as their appointed verifier to get accreditation for regulatory emissions reporting.
