Andreas Chrysostomou joins CSA
Maritime industry veteran Andreas Chrysostomou has been named as the new executive director of the Clean Shipping Alliance. Chrysostomou, who’s currently the chief strategy officer of Tototheo Maritime, has enjoyed a long career in government service that brought him to the helm of the Cypriot administration.
Chrysostomou previously served as the chairman of the International Maritime Organisation’s marine environment protection committee (MEPC), on the board of governors of the World Maritime University and is a past president of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology.
Chrysostomou said that "the global shipping industry has to transform itself in the face of unprecedented challenges. I’m confident that we can contribute to the work for carbon-neutral emissions by 2050." (cj)
