ANA: faster insights with artificial intelligence
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will be the launch customer for Boeing's Insight Accelerator (IA), a new cloud-based digital solution employing artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and avoid high impact service disruptions.
While the latest generation of commercial airplanes like the B787 generate a large amount of flight data, many operators lack the infrastructure to manage and leverage the information. IA uses out-of-the-box algorithms to sort and detect anomalies and create alerts to enable airlines to take proactive maintenance and repair action.
ANA, the global launch customer of the B787 and a launch customer for the 777X family, currently also operates two B777F and nine B767F, growing from only one B767-300 freighter aircraft which started ANA Cargo's business on 8 September 2002. (ah)
