ANA Cargo's first Frankfurt flight
Due to continued restrictions on international passenger flights caused by the novel coronavirus, certain areas are having difficulties securing cargo space. In order to meet the demand for freight capacities in both Japan and Europe, All Nippon Airways (ANA) has recently operated a B777F charter flight to Frankfurt.
The European gateway is the third city to welcome this large cargo aircraft, following Shanghai and Chicago, which the B777F has been using since July and October 2019, respectively.
The first flight from Tokyo NRT arrived on 1 0 June 2020 with approximately 65 t of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, electronics parts, clothing and medical supplies, while transporting a full load of 100 t from Frankfurt with electronic parts, wine, and other goods. (ah)
