ANA Cargo adds triple seven on transpac route

ANA All Nipon Airways Cargo plans to begin B777F operations next summer. Since cargo demand between Asia and North America is expected to increase over the medium to long term, the carrier says it will respond with the introduction of a B777F aircraft - the first of two it has on order from Boeing. Starting on 27 October, it will link Tokyo Narita with Chicago IL (USA).

Before that takes place, a B777F together with one of the twelve B767 freighters the company is operating, will be deployed on the new Tokyo Narita - Osaka Kansai - Shanghai - Narita route between 2 July and 25 August.

In the same period of time, the Narita - Shanghai B767F frequency will be reduced from daily to weekly. Starting on 26 August, the B777F will join the B767F and restore the daily schedules. (ah)
