An open marketplace for intermodal transport

Modility, a digital booking and brokerage portal for combined transport, has started operations. Thus combined transport operators can now market their capacities on the platform and forwarders can find and book them easily.

The portal is the result of cooperation between several market participants; it aims to simplify access to combined freight transport as a climate-friendly transport alternative.

The project was initiated by Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), which spun off Modility in July 2020, and then developed it together with twelve partners from the transport and logistics sector. (ben)
