An investment in packaging
As has only just been reported, Simon Hegele Gesellschaft für Logistik und Service mbH took over 50% of the shares of Georg Schrepfer in Germany at the beginning of 2022. The remaining 50% will stay with the previous owner, Thomas Bach. For Simon Egele, the acquisition is another step towards expanding its footprint in the healthcare industry.
Georg Schrepfer was founded in 1928 and specialises in packaging solutions. Its portfolio ranges from planning to construction and production of packaging materials, including transport packaging solutions made of wood, disposable and reusable packaging. (sh)
