An expansion built to last
Zufall Logistics Group is focusing on sustainable development at its newly expanded logistics hall “Distribo 3.0”. At its base, where it has been providing logistics operations for the life science industry since 2014, Zufall has added 10,000 sqm of capacity, backed by an investment of EUR 20 million.
The company was founded as a JV between Friedrich Zufall and Sartorius, for which it still manages pharmaceutical logistics. The site features temperature-controlled environments powered by heat pumps, photovoltaics, and ice storage. Made up of seven hall spaces, the completed complex is managed by Distribo.
Looking back on over 40 years of collaboration in the transport sector, Sartorius and Zufall can now work to build a sustainable infrastructure for the long term. (mk)
