An appetite for Philippine air freight
The Philippine company PSI Air 2007 began commercial cargo operations on 28 March 2020. The start-up cargo specialist based in Clark operated its first flight using B737-300(QC).
Its fleet also includes two converted passenger aircraft, one B727-200 (photo) and one B737-300 which it plans to use between three major islands (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao) globally for exporting agricultural products (sea foods, fruits, vegetables, etc.), raw and packaging materials for different industries.
But for now, the goals are more basic. "In these trying times, we will do our best to make sure the supply chain remains active so that the good people of the Philippines will not have to worry about the availability of products and medicines," the carrier stated after its first commercial take-off.
