An acquisition in 3PL
Sheer Logistics has acquired Cargo Barn, a third-party logistics provider (3PL). This takeover will enhance Sheer’s portfolio and network while complementing its core 4PL services.
Now operating under the Sheer Logistics brand, Cargo Barn will work to bolster its customer base and services. The Atlanta (GA)-based company has offices in Dallas, TX, and Jacksonville, FL. It has been recognised as one of the fasted growing logistics companies in the country.
“Together, we will deliver enhanced 3PL and 4PL/managed transportation services that will help our customers tackle their most complex logistics challenges and enable their continued success,” said Joel Gard, CEO of Sheer Logistics.
In other news, Sheer Logistics recently won an award for its technological innovations in CO2e reporting and dashboards software. (mk)
